Redlands Uniting Church - Redland Bay

The Redlands Uniting Church - Redland Bay is one of the five worship centres of the Redlands Uniting Church (the others are RUC - Capalaba, RUC - Cleveland, RUC - Trinity Wellington Point and RUC - Victoria Point - see separate entries - 4157, 4160, 4163). The church is part of the South Moreton Presbytery and the Uniting Church Synod of Queensland. The first meeting of the original Methodist Church was held on 25/4/1880 on the Dart family property, and conducted by the Rev Kidston. The first church building, erected on land donated by the Dart family, was opened on 17/3/1885. The church celebrated its 140th anniversary on 25/4/2020, although due to covid celebrations had to be postponed¹. No other details are known.
