The Yenda Uniting Church is part of the Riverina Presbytery and the Sydnod of NSW & ACT. Regular Methodist services commenced in Yenda in 1922, led by the Rev R C Barlow, who travelled the district on a motor bike. Early services were held in French's Boarding House, but when it was destroyed by fire, they continued in the open. The first church building was opened in December 1922, by the Rev D Hughes, although it was not without difficulties, as the first frame was blown down in a storm when partly completed. Co-operation with the Presbyterians was a feature of the church and joint services were held early when one of the denominations did not have a minister. In the 1940s a more formal arrangement began, with the congregation becoming part of the Uniting Church in 1977. More historical informaton/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 27/7/2021.
