The former Barellan Uniting Church held its final service on 19/12/2021, and the property has been sold (2022). The church had been part of the Riverina Presbytery and the Uniting Church Synod of NSW & ACT. Methodist services commenced in the distict some time before regular services began about 1912 in the home of Mr & Mrs Molesdale. Mr Molesdale was also instrumental in arranging the financing of the church building, completed in 1918, and Mrs Molesdale the Ladies meetings, Synod delegate and running the Sunday School.1 In the years before closure, the congregation on the third Sunday of each month joined with the St Clement's Anglican congregation for worship. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 26/7/2021.
