The Wesleyan Uniting Church, Crookwell began as a Wesleyan preaching place for the Goulburn Methodist Circuit about 1847. The first Wesleyan church building was opened on 29/8/1865 by the Rev H H Gaud. A Primitive Methodist Church also held services in Crookwell from about 1868, and opened a church building in Goulburn Street on 31/10/1871. These churches amalgamated on the formation of the Methodist Church in 1902. Major renovations were made to the Wesleyan church building during 1943, and it was re-opened on 30/10/1943. Over the years many other additions and alterations have been carried out to meet the needs of the congregation. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited.
