The St David's Uniting Church, Dee Why is part of the Sydney Central Coast Presbytery of the Uniting Church Synod of NSW & ACT. The first service of what was to become the St David's Presbyterian Church, Dee Why was held in the Literary Institute on 3/7/1927. The first church building was opened on 14/1/1928 by the Moderator of the North Sydney Presbytery. The present church building was opened on 7/7/1963. The church celebrated its fiftieth anniversary on 5/6/1977, shortly before the inauguration of the Uniting Church in Australia.
