Comments

The present Dundas Ermington Uniting Church, Dundas building was opened on 14/9/1974 by Mrs Coral Miller, and dedicated by the Rev Colin Ritchie, President of the Methodist Conference of NSW. It replaced the first church building erected on this site, on land gifted by Mr James Sonter, and opened on 1/1/1883. Although the church celebrated its centenary in 1982, meetings in private homes would have preceded the formation of the church and the erection of the church building. The current building is now also used by the Sydney Disciple Church, believed to be a Korean congregation. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 25/4/2019 & 2/2/2021.
