South Riana Uniting Church - Former

The former South Riana Uniting Church has closed, and the property is now privately owned. The church was part of the Presbytery of Tasmania. The first Methodist meetings in the district were held in the home of Mr & Mrs S Clarke, in 1895. A decision to erect the present church building was made in 1902 and it was officially opened in February 1903. A Sunday School hall was acquired in 1916. The final service, lead by the Rev Brian Cole and Deacon David Webster, was held on 9/2/2014. A cemetery adjoins the former church.
