A plaque records: This church was opened and dedicated - on 1st March 1969 - To the glory of God - and in grateful memory of the - pioneers of this district and the faithful - ministers and people  who have served - God during the past 81 years - "in the old kirk on the hill" - enter his courts with praise.

A plaque records: A centenary thanksgiving service - was conducted by the Moderator - Rev R L Thompson BA - in this church 18th October 1987 - to commemorate 100 years of worship at this place.

A plaque records: This church was relocated - during 1997 and reopened - on 16th November 1997 - at a service in the presence - of the Moderator - Rev Dr David A A Pitman.
