Dapto Uniting Church

The Dapto Uniting Church is in the Illawarra Presbytery of the Uniting Church Synod of NSW & ACT. The church began with services held in a Dapto schoolroom in 1841, conducted by Presbyterian minister the Rev John Tait. The church grew and erected a number of  church buildings in 1851 and 1894. These were followed by the pesent church building which was opened/dedicated on 7/2/1959 for the Presbyterian Church, and became part of the Uniting Church in 1977. Additional facilities were added in 1981. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 23/7/2026.
