Comments

The former St James' Uniting Church, Newtwon has closed (2000?) and the property has been sold. The church had been part of the Port Philip West Presbytery of the Uniting Church Synod of Victoria & Tasmania. The church building had been erected/opened about 1937 for the Presbyterian Church, and became part of the Uniting Church in 1977. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photograph uploaded 16/4/2026.
