The former Braidwood Uniting Church closed, and the property was sold  (1989?). The church building was erected for the Wesleyan Methodist Church, in 1855, being funded by public subscription. The Wesleyan Methodist Church became part of the Methodist Church at Union in 1902. In 1945 the building became the property of the Braidwood Presbyterian Church, which became part of the Uniting Church in 1977. The property was sold in 1989. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 4/3/2026.
