The St Andrew's Uniting Church, Braidwood is part of the Canberra Region Presbytery and the Uniting Church Synod of NSW & ACT. The church was established in 1843 when the Rev Christopher Eipper was appointed minister by the NSW Presbyterian Synod. The charge also included Monaro, Limestone Plains (Canberra) and Jervis Bay. The site for a church building was given by Mr Hugh Wallace of 'Nithdale'. The present church building was erected in 1861 for the Presbyterian Church, which became part of the Uniting Church in 1977. The church celebrated its 175th anniversary in 2018. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 4/3/2026.
