The Queanbeyan Uniting Church is part of the Canberra Region Presbytery and the Uniting Church Synod of NSW & ACT. A land grant for the first church building was secured in 1859, with the chapel opened on 13/5/1860. Additions were completed in the late1860s which made the building into a 'T' shape. The church building was erected for the Wesley Methodist Church, which became part of the Methodist Church at Union in 1900, and part of the Uniting Church in 1977. A Sunday School hall was opened on 28/11/1923. The Memorial Youth Centre building, which was constructed of donated bricks and mostly voluntary labour, was opened in October 1954. The present Worship Centre was opened on 26/3/1994. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 5/10/2025.
