The former Murray Town Uniting Church has closed, and the property has been sold (2018).  The church had been part of the Uniting Church Synod of South Australia. The church building had been erected in 1896 for the Bible Christian Church, which became part of the Methodist Church at Union about 1900, and part of the Uniting Church in 1977.
