The Wilmington Uniting Church is in the Flinders Uniting Churches Parish and part of the Presbytery of Southern SA and the Uniting Church Synod of South Australia. The church building was opened on 18/4/1880 for The Bible Christian Church, which amalgamated in the early 1900s to form the Methodist Church. The memorial porch was added in 1926.
