The former Salvation Army Citadel - Port Augusta has closed and the property was sold (2009). The Salvation Army began in Port Augusta about 1883. The Citadel was opened on 11/10/1919. The Port Augusta Corps now meets at 1/96 Carlton Parade (see separate entry - 5700). More historical information/photographs of the former citadel/congregation are invited.
