Comments

The Springwood Presbyterian Church was opened on 8/12/1895. The land and funds to erect the church building were a gift/bequest from Mr John Frazer. (Born Co. Down, Northern Ireland 1827, who came to Australia with three of his siblings at the age of 15). Hence it was originally called the Frazer Memorial Presbyterian Church. Prior to the church building the Presbyterians worshiped in the open air, The Oriental Hotel or private homes. No other details are known. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited. Photographs uploaded 10/11/2019.
