St John's Presbyterian Church - Former

The former St John's Presbyterian Church, Kalkallo (formerly Donnybrook) closed a number of years ago, and the property was sold (2006?). A  Presbyterian church was opened in the district about 1848 at another site, with the present church building erected at the current site and dedicated on 9/12/1860. Due to the declne in the population and the congregation the building became too expensive for the remaining parishioners to maintain, hence it was closed/sold. No other details are known.
