GKY Church - Sydney

GKY [Gereja Kristus Jesus] Church - Sydney, Surry Hills is an Indonesian language Church. It was founded on 8/3/2009. The church building was originally erected as the Chalmers Presbyterian Church about 1856. It was named after Dr Thomas Chalmers, a leading Scottish Theologian. In 1947 the congregation amalgamated with the Welsh Church congregation as the Welsh Presbyterian Church. This church closed and the building was sold to a secular buyer about 2013. It was later bought by the GKY Church and converted back to a place of worship. No other details are known. More historical information/photographs of the church(es)/congregation(s) are invited.
