The St. Mary & St. Merkorious Coptic Orthodox Church, Rhodes was established in 1987. Its first meeting was held in an Anglican Church building in Burwood and from January 1988, in a Uniting Church building in Concord West. It later bought a small Uniting Church building in Rhodes.
