A stone tablet commemorating the opening records: Church of St Aphanasius - Sanctifier Ruling. Bishop Varlaam - and his Vicar. Bishop Donat -10th October 1965 [Followed by the text in Ukrainian].

A plaque on the hall records: This Memorial Hall - has been erected through the efforts - of the Parishioners of The St Alphanasius Parish - of The Ukranian Autocephalic Orthodox Church in Australia, and other people of goodwill - in commemoration of the Millennium of Christianity in Ukraine - 988 ~ 1988 - officially opened and dedicated on - 13th November 1988 by - His Grace Archbishop Volodymyr (Didowycz) - The Ruling Bishop of - The Australian & New Zealand Diocese - of The Ukranian Autocephalic Orthodox Church - Parish Priest Very Rev W Lulka.
