The Beckom Union Church was opened on 31/1/1926 (https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/245850403). It was erected on land donated by Mr Thomas Lowrie, and the church door was opened by Mr Peter Grant. No other details are known about the Church. However, a Union Church is a church building owned and maintained by a local trust and available to multiple denominations. Therefore it may have been used by any of the Methodist, Presbyterian or Anglicans for services, or all three. It is noted regular Methodist services were held in Beckom from 1912, and it is known the Presbyterians were also active in the district at this time. A Joint Parish between the Methodists and Presbyterians was inaugurated in January 1972, in Beckom, but it is not known if it used this building. Its current use status is not known. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation(s) are invited. Photographs uploaded 26/7/2021.
