The Coast Chapel, Little Bay, A Nurses War Memorial. In 1963, the Prince Henry Hospital Trained Nurses Association, formed just a few years earlier, undertook the task of raising funds to build an interdenominational chapel, on the grounds of Prince Henry Hospital, Little Bay. Upon completion it was dedicated as an Australian Nurses War Memorial and is a lasting tribute to the services rendered by all Australian nursing sisters in time of war. It was presented to Prince Henry Hospital for use by hospital staff, patients and their relatives. Since the closure of the hospital it is heritage protected, and available for hire to all members of the public for religious ceremonies. More historical information/photographs of the chapel are invited. Photographs uploaded 27/10/2020 & 19/11/2025.
