  • 1934 ~ Church of Christ built as Wolseley Chapel allotment  256.
  • 1959 ~ Catholic congregation purchased Railway Institute Social Club building in Railway Terrace.
    • St Andrew's Catholic Church 1959 ~ 1982.

All Churches sold & removed except for Church of Christ Church purchased by Methodist Church 1967 for Sunday School.

Comments

The former Wolseley Methodist Church was built in 1901. The Heritage Plaque (see above) states it was built in Garrett Ave., but only able to find a Garnet Ave. in Wolseley. After the church closed (date unknown), the building was relocated in 1988 to Old Tailem Town Pioneer Village, 8552 Princes Hwy, Tailem Bend 5260. No other details are known.
