Comments

The former Thomas Plain Methodist Church closed sometime in the 1920s, due to changes in the demography of the district caused by improved farming practices and transportation. The earliest services in Thomas Plains were held in 1877 by the Greens Plains Congregational Church minister, the Rev Buchanan. The first Primitive Methodist service was held on 23/9/1883  in the home of Mr T Rodda, and continued there until the church was opened on 17/2/19011. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregaton are invited. Photograph uploaded 10/5/2022.

Details of the exact address are not known. Information invited.
