The former Hoya Lutheran Church, which was opened about 1882, closed many years ago, and the building has been removed from the site (believed to have been removed to the Boonah Showgrounds - but unable to locate a photograph). The church building had been located near the Hoya Lutheran Cemetery, which still remains. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited.
