The St Peter's Lutheran Church, Lavington is in the NSW & ACT District of the Lutheran Church of Australia. A Sunday School began in February 1952, with church services beginning at the Lavington Hall in 1953. The church site was purchased by St Luke's Albury, in May 1957, and donated to St Peter's. The church building was completed and opened on 12/5/1963, the majority of the work having been undertaken by voluntary labour, including help from St Luke's.
