The former St Matthew's Lutheran Church, Urangeline has closed and the property has been sold (1998?). The church had been part of the Lutheran District of NSW & ACT and the Lutheran Church of Australia.  The former church building was opened on 31/10/1965. It replaced an earlier structure which had been relocated from Alma Park, a gift of the Alma Park Lutheran congregation, which had been opened on 22/9/1929 by the Rev A Hartman, President of Synod1.
