Comments

The former St John's Lutheran Church, Condowie began about 1876 and celebrated its centenary in 1976. The church had been part of the Lutheran District of SA-NT and the Lutheran Church of Australia. A church building was opened for worship on 21/1/1923 and the church closed on 29/5/1988. A Sunday School hall was built about 1952 and also closed on 29/5/1988 when the congregation joined with St John's, Brinkworth. The church building has now been demolished and a Cairn now marks the site. The St John's Lutheran Cemetery is located nearby.
