The Christ Lutheran Church, Wudinna is part of the Lutheran District of South Australia-Northern Territory and the Lutheran Church of Australia. The Christ Lutheran congregation works within a Covenant with the Wudinna Uniting congregation, with both congregations sharing a Pastor. Both denominations work together, but still retain their own identity and properties. Services alternate weekly between the two churches (see separate entry - Uniting - 5652).The earliest Lutheran services in the area date from about 1927, and were held in the Pinbong School. Other Lutheran churches in the district have over the years combined with this congregation, but details are not known. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited.
