West Pennant Hills Community Church

The West Pennant Hills Community Church began as a Sunday School in the home of Mrs Hastings on 16/7/1938. It outgrew the home and in 1943 Mrs Hastings gave a block of land for a hall, and this simple wooden structure was opened on 27/11/1943. The first worship service was held in the building on 5/3/1952. A new chapel was opened in March 1974 to cater for the larger congregation.
