The former Hawkesbury Christian Reformed Church, Richmond has now closed and the property was sold in 2021. The church had been a member of Christian Reformed Churches of Australia. The church building had been erected and opened on 30/11/1929 for the Methodist Church, which became part of the Uniting Church in 1977. After the Uniting Church closed the building was subsequently acquired by the Hawkesbury Christian Reformed Church. (Windsor & Richmond Gazette - 6 December 1929) "OPENING CEREMONY AND DEDICATION MOST IMPRESSIVE RELIGIOUS SERVICE THE PLACE, THE WORSHIP, AND THE BLESSING WITH all sanctity and religious ceremony the opening and Dedication of the new Methodist Church in Paget Street, Richmond, was performed on Saturday afternoon by the Rev. G. W. Furner, Chairman of the Parramatta District, in the presence of a large and worshipful assemblage from all parts of the district. It was a most impressive ceremony and was carried through with that religious fervor which characterised similar Methodist functions through out the world."
