(Sydney Morning Herald -10 September 1929) "NEW CHURCH AT RICHMOND. RICHMOND, Monday. A large crowd witnessed the setting of the foundatlon-stone of the new Methodist Church at Richmond on Saturday afternoon. The building is being erected on an ideal site In Paget Street, with a 75ft frontage, which was purchased for £375."

The former Richmond Methodist Church building is now used by Hawkesbury Christian Reformed Church, which is a member of Christian Reformed Churches of Australia.

(Windsor & Richmond Gazette - 6 December 1929) "OPENING CEREMONY AND DEDICATION MOST IMPRESSIVE RELIGIOUS SERVICE THE PLACE, THE WORSHIP, AND THE BLESSING WITH all sanctity and religious ceremony the opening and Dedication of the new Methodist Church in Paget Street, Richmond, was performed on Saturday afternoon by the Rev. G. W. Furner, Chairman of the Parramatta District, in the presence of a large and worshipful assemblage from all parts of the district. It was a most impressive ceremony and was carried through with that religious fervor which characterised similar Methodist functions through out the world."
