St Teresa's Catholic Church - Former

The former St Teresa's Catholic Church, Murrayville held its final Mass on 14/10/2018, celebrated by Father John Herd. The church had been part of the Mallee Border Parish of the Diocese of Adelaide. The church building was opened on 30/1/1938 by Father Timmons from Ouyen, Father Conway from Mildura and Father Smyth of Pinnaroo. Earlier Mass services had been celebrated in private residences, Curtain's Murrayville Hotel, The Shire Hall and the Mechanics Institute buildings. The present church building was sold in 2021.
