The present St Patrick's Catholic Church, Beenleigh building was opened on 3/8/1980. It replaced the first St Patrick's church building which was opened in 1875, and had become too small. A special Mass was celebrated, in 1975, by Archbishop Rush, to mark the centenary of the opening of the old church building. The St Patrick's Parish, Beenleigh was established in 1955, and is part of the Archdiocese of Brisbane. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited.
