The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Tumut is part of the Parish of Tumut and the Diocese of Canberra & Goulburn. The present church building was opened on 24/11/1878 by the Bishop of Goulburn, to replace the original building which had been built about 1859, but had become too small for the congregation.
