The former Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, Rydalmere is now the church hall. The present Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church is now located across the road, and was opened on 6/8/1989 (see separate entry). The first Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, Rydalmere was a church/school opened on 18/9/1889. It was destroyed by fire in 1915 and the current building replaced it in 1916, and is now the parish hall. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited.
