St Joseph's Catholic Church

A heritage plaque records: Roman Catholic Church - 1907 - The first Roman Catholic Church was built on this site in 1907, it was given the name St Joseph. Bishop Duhig was the first Catholic Bishop to visit Isisford on the 8th of October 1916. And on that afternoon administered confirmation to the following list of people: [ A list of 47 names follows].- The church was replaced by a new structure which was blessed on the 9th August 1953, by Bishop Tynan. The old church was removed and is now the Whitman's Museum.
