The St Dympna's Catholic Church, Dunoon building was relocated/re-erected about 1927 from an earlier site in James Street to its present site at 80 James Street, due to the previous sites unsuitable position.The land for the first site was donated by Mr Michael Donoghue (Snr), and the second by Mr Michael Dunoon (Jnr). The first site being returned to Mr Donoghue(Jnr) when the building was relocated. No other details are known. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited.
