The former St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, O'Connell is now privately owned. It was built about 1867. A school adjoining was built in 1840 at Locksley, and transported to its current site about 1876. It was run by the Sisters of St Joseph. A small private cemetery also adjoins the property.
