The Christ the King Catholic Church, Taralga is in the Parish of Taralga and the Diocese of Canberra & Goulburn. The present church building was opened and dedicated on 28/10/1934 by Bishop John Barry, DD. This building replaced the earlier St Ignatius's Catholic Church, which had opened in 1864, and was closed and sold (see separate entry - 2580). No other details are known.
