The former St Camillus Catholic Church, Bilambil held its final service on 23/3/2025, having served the community for about 90 years. It is expected the property will be sold. The church had been part of the Parish of Tweed Heads and the Diocese of Lismore. The community at Bilambil began to raise funds to erected its own church building in the early 1930s. Land was donated by James & Martha Duffy and the church building was opened for worship by Bishop Carroll of Lismore, on 21/10/1934.
