The building of the church commenced in early 1962, with the foundation stone blessed and laid on 24/6/1962. The building was opened on 12/9/1962 by Archbishop Simonds. On 11/11/1962 the church was dedicated as a War Memorial to all those who lost their lives in service of their country. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited.
