The Ss Peter & Paul's Catholic Church was opened and blessed by Bishop McCabe in 1963. The first St Peter's Catholic Church was opened in 1858, with its Golden Jubilee held in 1908. Ss Peter & Paul's Catholic Church was opened in 1963 and consecrated in 1993 by Bishop Murray. The 50th annivesary of the laying of its foundation stone was held in 2013. The old bell from the 1858 St Peter's Catholic Church was installed at Ss Peter & Paul's in 2013. More historical information/photographs of the church/congregation are invited.
