The St Patrick's Catholic Church, Balmoral is part of the Parish of Western Border and the Diocese of Ballarat. The original church building was erected about 1895, although a congregation existed much earlier, with Mass being celebrated in private homes, the Mechanics Institute, the Western Hotel and the Court House. Following the additions of the porch and a chancel, the building was opened and dedicated on the 16/7/1933, by the Bishop of Ballarat.
