The St Andrew's Catholic Church, Balaklava is part of the St Mary of the Cross MacKillop/Northern Light Parish, (with St Vincent de Paul, Port Wakefield; St Benedict's, Freeling; Our Lady of the Nativity, Hamley Bridge; St Rose of Lima, Kapunda; St Malachy's, Mallala and Sts John & Paul, Tarlee) in the Archdiocese of Adelaide. The church building was erected in 1889, with the present sanctuary and sacristy extensions added in 1910. No other details are known.
