The former Sacred Heart Catholic Church/Hall has closed, and the property has been sold (2020). The church/hall had been in the Parish of Douglas Park and the Diocese of Wollongong. The building began as the towns community hall, being erected about 1937, and consecrated as Sacred Heart church in 1939.
