The former Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Wombarra has closed and the property has been sold(2026). The church had been part of the Parish of Thirroul in the Diocese of Wollongong. While the church began about 1952, the present church building was erected/opened in 1964. More historical information/photographs of the former church/congregation are invited.
