The St Dominics Catholic Church, Homebush West is part of the Flemington/St Dominic's Parish and the Archdiocese of Sydney. The Parish is under the Pastoral Care of the Franciscan Friars (Order of Friars Minor), founded by St Francis of Assisi. The parish also serves the Western Sydney Catholic Chinese Community and the Sudaneses Australian Catholic Community. The parish was established in 1928, with the present church building being opened and blessed by Cardinal Gilroy in 1956.
