St Mary's Catholic Church

The St Mary's Catholic Church, Tuena no longer holds regular services at this location. The church is part of the Parish of Crookwell and the Diocese of Canberra & Goulburn. The current church building was blessed and opened by Dr Barry, Bishop of Goulburn on 21/11/1934. It had been constructed using bricks from the Cordillera mine chimney. This building replaced an earlier Wesleyan Methodist Church building, bought in 1896, for use by the church. The church celebrated its 80th anniversary on 23/11/2014.
